Each child will be supported to ensure that the educational needs set out in the EHCP (Education Health Care Plan) Plan are fulfilled. Càlon Care Services Ltd will support all children to attend regular and planned education. We will facilitate all transport to education activities and support the children if their needs require.

Càlon Care have captured the support from HIT Education Services.

‘’HIT Education has been created to implement effective approaches to supporting young people into sustained engagement, training and employment. HIT Education recognises the barriers that individuals face within their daily lives. We support people who are risk of disengagement. We specialise in developing education with children and young adults. Our areas of focus are the inclusion and Social Service sector.

The bespoke programmes aim to support the development of new skills, aspirations, confidence, self-esteem and ability. These are developed by overcoming barriers linked to participation in learning and accessing future employment.’’

We offer Tailored education programs, to meet the needs of the child can be achieved and can offer our children an introduction back into regular schooling in a creative way. HIT Education has a 100% success rate with all young people they support and are currently being sourced from local authorities across Wales. All courses are accredited and regulated under Estyn.

HIT Education will support the homes manager with the reviewing of progress, can attend LAC (Looked After Child) and PEP (Personal Education Planning) reviews and provide progression updates to local authorities, parents and advocates.
